Our First Month in Hungary

Wow, we can not believe it has been a month already! We have seen and done alot this month. We moved into a beautiful apartment, toured the city, went to Czech Republic, and have met some wonderful new people. Our first month has been filled with things to do and roller coaster emotions. We have learned the metro and tram system and how to get around town. We have gone to grocery stores, malls, IKEA, banks, markets, and have learned how to buy things. We have been learning spoken Hungarian and Hungarian Sign
Language. We have toured serveral touristy spots around the city and seen just how beautiful a city it is. We have met new friends and groups of Deaf people who have been so friendly and helpful to us.

Next month we will be going to Greece to meet with others on our team and our supervisors. We will be laying out the plans for how we are going to work on Storying for the Deaf and the video work that we are going to be doing here. Also within the next month we will be laying out the details of getting Hungarian Sign Language instructors to teach us the sign language and finding a school to learn spoken Hungarian. So its about to get busy!

God has really blessed us with a good first month and we look forward to what he is going to do in our lives and the lives of those around us in the future. Thank you for all your prayers and support. We really appreciate it!
