A lovely week in Greece

We spent this past week in Greece and it was so wonderful! We stayed on an island called Evia just off the coast of Athens. You could go out our hotel and step right into the beach of the Aegean Sea. It was really beautiful! It was very refreshing to see some old friends and meet some new ones. We were also able to have many good chats with our leaders about the project we are going to be working on throughout Eastern Europe. We talked about the plan and the big picture that we're working towards and we are very excited to get started on it!

We also had one day to travel into Athens and do a little sightseeing. After getting very lost, we finally found our way to the Acropolis! We were able to walk all over and see the Parthenon and Areopagus (Mars Hill from Acts 17). This was the spot where Paul preached his sermon to the people of Athens. It was so amazing to think that we were walking where he had walked.

We were able to meet more people on our team from around the world and get a clear picture of what God is having us do while we are here in Europe. God really blessed us this week and we left feeling very encouraged and thankful for trusting and following the path God has put us on.
